It's been almost two years since I saw Kya, a gorgeous Arabian who at that time was truly worried about being in a stable. He has improved a great deal and his owner is now ready to take him competing. Today we started work on asking him to load into a trailer - something he has always found very frightening before. We made good progress and ended the session with him able to sand still on the trailer for thirty seconds with a mock back bar behind him. I have loaned the family my panels so that they can continue to practice over the coming days and weeks.
