More loading practice with Mia today and she accepted being contained by the partition and being tied up. We hoped that having a friendly face in the form of Fiddles next to her would help her to calm down even more but in fact she was more stressed, especially when Fiddles was taken out again, even though we always kept her in sight. Changing positions so that she went on second didn't improve things. There is more work to do here if we are to load the dice in favour of no incidents or accidents while travelling. It's not enough to have a horse that loads, they need to be as relaxed as possible too. We're back there Monday so we'll see how she is then.
