1st April, 2016 What Kind of Sorcery is This?

A vague hint of spring as I went across the Forest this morning. Flowers on the gorse and two pregnant mares outside the fields. These two are mother and daughter and last foaled two years ago.

Our guest of the day was Caroline (Jones) who is a zoopharmacognosy practitioner. Her first customer was Bear who started off being busy, busy, busy, and wasn't really interested in any of the oils.

However, he soon found one or two that he really liked and then he wanted to know what else was on offer. He wanted to stand on the bridge so that he could get a better look.

Orange blossom and mimosa had the most profound effect and he was soon almost asleep.

Predictably Henrietta's favourite was ginger oil (in fact she didn't like any of the others)...

and she kept comparing it to her beloved ginger biscuits.

Her Flehmen response to the oil revealed a set of rapidly changing teeth.
