This weekend I am hosting Simon Palmer's Special Equine Photography course and it struck me that the aims of the Firemens' Course and this one are exactly the same: to quickly form a relationship with a horse. There were some quite beautiful moments on the course yesterday when the firemen left their colleagues behind to simply work with a horse. You can imagine all the joshing that goes on when they are together but the horses instantly recognise that they are friend not foe.
Out on the common the ponies were posing yesterday.
