For a year now I have been writing up a newsletter for a small charity called Pursue which works with communities in Kenya. Their staff and volunteers help the community with different projects within schools and the wider population, providing resources and know-how to help people to make the most of their lives. All of this is done without massive overheads.

In my most recent newsletter, this delightful picture appears, showing the children of New Day School proudly sitting on the chairs and at the tables that their own school provided with money they had saved and donations of timber from the community itself. Pursue had been able to help them through their School Liaison Officer, Phanice, who had given them financial, budgeting and planning advice.
