This gorgeous fellow is Storm with his owner Emily. He has developed a fine line in making a bee line for food and it is really very hard to hold him when he makes his mind up to go. As well as going through the basic groundwork exercises today, we worked especially on his leading - working out "what happens before what happens, happens" and asking him to be present at all times - being exact about where we would like him to be and introducing lots of interesting turns and stops to keep him tuned in to us. It seems to have had a very positive influence already and I am going back on Friday morning to do a little bit more before he heads back off to college for the next term.
