It's just three weeks before I take part in the Great South Run, 10 miles in support of the Alzheimer's Society. I am running in memory of my Nan who died of Alzheimer's and also as an insurance policy for myself in the future! To give myself something to aim for after that, I have entered the Downton Half Marathon which takes place on 25th November on familiar territory. Yesterday I ran 9.7 miles relatively easily so I am heading in the right direction, literally.
