Have to say that I have woken up with a great deal of enthusiasm and optimism now that I have seen just how many people from so many organisations, including the BHS, NFU and an independent researcher, plus horsebox and trailer manufacturers are prepared to consider and make great changes to the design of horse transport vehicles in the interests of the safety and welfare of the horse. As owners and consumers we need to push for better designs and educate ourselves so that we know what to look for, what to insist on, what to give priority, when choosing transport for our precious horses AND then we need to maintain them properly, know what to inspect, how to clean it, and how to drive it so that we don't add to the risk. This one just won't do although the ventilation is great!!!
