Pie seems to be very happy back out on the Forest, doing his best impression of a zebra. All of the ponies love the caramelised gorse after it has been burnt.
Later this afternoon we went off to see Holly who is now kept at a riding stables close to Alice in Wonderland. Not only does she get to meet lots of people nut she is totally immune to people screaming in the Pirate Ship!
Young horseman, Tommy, is really quite brilliant with her and there was very little new for me to do. For a seven month old foal, Holly is brave and confident and has lovely manners.
She is interested in everything...
and we reached this stage within minutes in incremental stages...
She did think it was a little ignominious to be asked to stand in such a muddy puddle but consented providing I went in too. No wonder I get through a pair of boots every winter.
Meanwhile back at the fire station our lovely friend Barbara was busy holding on to a horse that had got into a lot of trouble...
