With the last of the acorns down now and the deer and squirrels doing a fine job of eating them, the horses have been given three out of the four fields in which to roam. With less horses at home, I am hoping to give them more space to move, wear down their hooves, and use their muscles. They're all looking perfect for going into the winter and won't need hay until at least November.
