19th May, 2015 Over the Top

Last Friday, firefighters in Lancashire rescue this four year old Irish Draught horse called Archie from this horsebox where he had jumped over the breast partition. Fortunately the horse was fine but the Animal Rescue Team had to use specialist equipment to cut him out of the box. This is the sort of incident which triggered the British Animal Rescue and Trauma Association's Horse Transport Survey which closes at the end of June. If your horse has been involved in any sort of accident or incident within horse transport then please complete the survey at BARTA
