1st May, 2017 To the Moon and Back

A working Bank Holiday with a visit to Victor this morning. He has been doing very well for the last twelve months but has suddenly had a set back about being caught. So easy for him to be labelled as naughty when in fact he is ambivalent and worried. Fortunately he allowed me to catch him over and over again once we got started. It was a matter of getting back to his recognisable pattern.

Lunch at Longslade View where the ponies were eating the flowers off the gorse bushes...

There were a few foals about but they haven't really arrived en masse yet...

After some time out in the big field this morning, Moon made some definite progress again this afternoon, standing still for much of the time, and allowing the feather duster to go all the way along her back from her ears to her tail.

And finally, a search for Nelly revealed this two cows parked rather badly...

and a very large Nelly waddling across the plain.

Lord, I almost forgot to add Henrietta's contribution to the day...she now goes down the 'nail file' lengthways and she has seen her own reflection for the first time and likes what she sees.
