5th May, 2017 Moon Landing

Foals at either end of our day today...this one up at Telegraph Hill and likely to be by Applewitch Diversity.

Meanwhile her sister is right down at the other end of the B3078 on Longcross Plain...

As she moved off, she was pursued by some very worried looking Aunties...

Meanwhile Blue doesn't know what all the fuss is about...

...and Nelly hasn't had her own foal yet.

Pie was begging to be turned out...

until we actually did it...

...and then he begged us to take him back in again. He shared some food with Moon before heading off...

...she is calm enough to eat while we work with her now...

...although there are still some 'no-go' areas...

...once again she exposed her left hand side and Karen began to do some work on that from a distance...

...but can get much much closer on the right hand side now. Almost within hand touching distance.

The big horses (and Henrietta) were pleased to be allowed into the top field just before we left.

More foals down at Moonhills where the stallion, Walhampton Scholars Farewell was out last year...

...his foals are consistently dark...

...and of course very very cute.
