4th April, 2012 The Lone Ranger's Mate

Today it was over towards Sherborne to work with Tonto and his owner, Claire. Tonto is eight years old and ridden two or three times a week. Claire booked a double session and wanted to make sure that her groundwork was working. Tonto can be nervous of new and novel items and Claire wanted to know how to help him and how to respond when he does get frightened. After a break for lunch, we went through the three methods of desensitisation. As you can see, they did brilliantly.
