11th August, 2013 Business As Usual

With so much work coming on I'm working with the young ponies on Sundays while they are here. It's such a pleasure working with them as they are both bright and eager to learn. Neither of them minds going out on their own. I also had the pleasure of David's company today and his skills with the camera.

Jazz's only small fault, if you can call it one, is that she jumps out of fields and the stable for a pastime. Yesterday she jumped out of the wooden pen as I was getting Isaac in from the field. I need to teach her to stay put and be patient for reasonable amounts of time so today we made a pen out of the round pen panels and she immediately settled down.

Isaac went out on a walk which is designed to assess and expand his confidence. He is a naturally confident pony and did brilliantly - earning himself eleventy million out of ten.
