12th August, 2013 Ta-daa! Hanna

Lovely Lindy with Hanna
This could just be an excuse for a photo-fest but with just one session behind her and a little bit of practice by her owner during the week, Hanna is now really good with her feet.

This is my normal view of Hanna since she is very tall

Still too tall...or rather, I'm too short.
After a quick cuddle it was down to work. Not only did Hanna allow me to touch her legs with the feather duster with no preamble whatsoever, but she was happy to keep her feet D-O-W-N.

I find that scratching the area between the fetlock and the coronet is blissful for some horses.
Then it was just a matter of adding in a clear signal when we did want her to pick her feet U-P.

Hanna makes sure there are no flies on me
With all four feet being picked up easily (but not at the same time) and no wafting whatsoever we called it a day. On with the fly rug and out in the field.

Who says that Warmbloods can't be ground tied?

Totally gratuitous picture
