Four year old New Forest pony, Kitty May, arrived for preparation for starting today. It was a good sign when she walked straight up on to the trailer without a moment's hesitation and came out at our end of the woods without a bead of sweat. Owner Jackie had packed up Kitty's toothbrush and jammies.
She certainly moves well and looked stunning, if plump, as she went around the field. She normally lives with sheep for company so we're hoping a bit of interaction with other ponies will help with the figure.
Indy has become a perfect meeter and greeter and the two ponies settled down together very easily.
Here are the stripey pyjamas. She has mild sweet itch.
Whether it was the fetching outfit or the Eau de Ruggle-It, Nettles thought she was rather nice too.
When Piglet left and Tracey said we would miss him, his owner laughed and said, "Until your next project". Fortunately there is room in our hearts for all of them and we still miss Piglet and all of the other horses that we have ever worked with at the fields. Maybe one day we will have a school reunion.
