Three on tour this morning as Kitty May continues with her education. We even persuaded David to come with us with Nettles.
We practised standing at a height next to all of them...
jumping ditches when trees get in the way...
...and looked at some traffic in the form of cars, bikes...
...and motorbikes although she was far more interested in the donkeys...
...and the pretty kite.
Some excitement on the way home when Nelly (pictured here) and Blue came charging across the green absolutely convinced that it must be stallion turning out time and that Kitty May might be a boy.
Kitty was remarkably relaxed and so I took the opportunity to sit on her for the first time.
"That's so exciting. She looks very laid back. A lovely surprise!" JP
All in all it has been a very satisfying week with Blue leading, loading and being very brave, Iggy knowing his left from his right and halting, Anna with her feet done and Chancer checked in his loan home. Theoden and Petra have been ridden a few times, Champ is accepting a bit for the first time in his seventeen years and Django has been long reined out. Izzy has been for a walk and eaten cleavers as well as accepting an umbrella held above her back. Kitty May has arrived, prospered and now been sat on and we're just waiting to hear if Bart allowed himself to be caught today.
