Yesterday three ponies were killed on the Forest in separate collisions. Two of the drivers did stop at the scene but the third was a hit and run. Someone must know someone with a car that is severely dented. We have to find a way to make this stop. It is not feasible to fence all of the Forest roads nor to put speed bumps all along them; there are hundreds of miles of roads and the Forest encompasses many towns and villages. Drivers need to change their attitude and slow down.
