21st February, 2011 Guest Blog: Little Albert


Thanks very much to Louise Crouch for letting me have a copy of her Psychology homework. I think this diagram shows exactly how a horse could learn to associate the appearance of one thing (say a tractor) with the fear of another (the shock from an electric fence), so that if he had backed into an electric fence when moving away from a tractor, he'll associate the two.
