Kitty May continued with yesterday's great start today, tackling the see-saw and the bridge with alacrity. Considering she has never encountered anything like these obstacles before she is a bit of a star.
Izzy, a two year old gypsy cob that was actually owned by the gypsies as a foal, astounded us today. Not only did she wander up the ramp of the horsebox when we asked her to, but she couldn't have cared less about the carrier bags on a stick or the brolly over her back. When we walked her up and down the drive she just stopped to gaze at the silly Thoroughbreds that were careening around the field. What a splendid pony! She's also been beautifully polished.
