5th September, 2016 Thundershirts

I have just been discussing the role of weighted blankets for people with sensory perception dysfunction with Ivy's owner, Miriam. I explained that I thought that Ivy was less anxious now that she is wearing her fly sheet which not only relieves her sweet itch symptoms but is heavy and perhaps comforting. I think it is helping to equalise her nerve endings and even to help her right side become as relaxed as her left. "Oh", said Miriam, "Like Thundershirts for dogs?". I've just looked them up, and yes! Just like Thundershirts for dogs. Anyone fancy running an experiment?
