12th March, 2017 Bag of Donuts

We weren't the only ones taking our pony for a walk! The pony coming in the opposite direction is a New Forest yearling.

At the end of last week's positive session Wendy and I pondered whether we would need to repeat part of it, or whether Donut would have learned everything we wanted him to from it. Well of course he had! Today we started where we left off and on the next leg took him about three times as far without any problems.

We went to see the donkeys and Donut was fine with them.

He gave Julie a cheerful kiss goodbye...

...and Wendy went off with him on her own, something she couldn't have contemplated last weekend.

Back at the stables someone was making the most of their hay.
